Our clientele have been with us for many years, from the heyday of Freehand MX. To this day we have not found a workable alternative to Freehand, so we strive to maintain the latest MacOSX computers workable for Freehand.
We find the current configuration of OSX Sierra (high Sierra) with Parallels/snowleopardserver/freehand to be very stable and better than ever.
We run 27″ Retina display iMacs with 16Gb+ Ram. Parallels allocates half the available RAM to the Guest Os (10.6.8) which is plenty for our needs considering that a decade ago we were happily working with a tenth of the 27″ iMac available computing power and CRT screens.
