Freehand resides within a Parallels software window which is running OSX 10.6.8. It is a computer within a computer.
Moving items between machines is as easy as drag and drop from desktop to desktop, or navigate via the finder. On the Guest desktop is the Parallels Shared folder – you can navigate to any file on your Host computer or network via this icon.
The guest OS uses the Host Os internet connection and peripherals.
We recommend shutting down the Guest OS via its Shut down command under the apple icon (upper left corner of Guest window), just as you would shut down the Host computer. This clears the Guest OSXFH RAM and Cashes instead of suspending the OS in a ‘sleep’ like state.
